» I know I need a website. How do I know where to start and what info to include online?
We will talk to you about your business and help you throughout the process! The first thing to do when creating a site is to think of an outline ( how all your information will be presented online ).

A basic outline for most websites is:
1. A front page ( the first page they see )
2. A services page ( what you offer )
3. An about us page ( your background )
4. A testimonials page ( reviews from past clients )
5. A contact us page ( location , your phone, and an email form to contact you )

Beyond those 5 basic pages , we a gallery page ( or pages ) , additional services pages, and any other information you want to present to your clients.

If you can tell me what pages your website needs in your first contact with me, I'll give you a free page!
If you don't know this info right away...don't worry. Helping you figure this out is part of what we do!

The 2nd step is to think about colors and how you want the site to look !

» I've taken a look at the online samples and I like your work. How do I get a quote?

» How soon can I begin my website with you?
We can usually get you on a designers schedule within 2-4 days !

» Are there LOCAL people who I can consult with and who work on the site?
Yes ! See the "about us" page for more details ! We can sit down with you in person or via phone to talk about your site ! We travel out of San Francisco too. If you've shopped for a website designer very long, you'll realize how rare it is to actually have a local person to be able to speak with .

» Can you design a website for me if I'm not local to you?
Of course! It is quite easy to communicate via phone and email. We've developed websites not only for businesses throughout the United States, but other countries as well. See website samples for details.

» Do you redesign existing sites?
Yes. We can usually redesign an existing site more quickly, and for less money, than building one from scratch.

» I have a small business ( under 50 employees ) . Do you design for small businesses?
YES ! We SPECIALIZE in helping small businesses market themselves online ! We have developed websites ranging in size from a single page to over 50 pages . We work with the specific needs of each individual client.

» Can you do sites with FLASH animation and sound?
Of course! Flash animated sites and sites with sounds cost a little more that regular websites ( just call us for a quote).

» Can you provide me with images for my website ? I currently don't have any.
Sure. We can often help your find graphics at NO ADDITIONAL COST ! There are alot of free or low cost image banks online too. We will help you find perfect images for your website.

» I have pictures to use, but they aren't great . Can you fix them ?
YES ! We are photoshop experts and can help the photography you already have make the best impression possible.

» We want GREAT pictures. Can you recommend a photographer to help with my website?
YES ! We have a staff photographer who can do pictures of your business, staff, product ect. ! We also have other photographers throughout the country we can recommend. We highly recommend getting professional pictures on your site . The combination of great pictures and a great web page will really help your marketing efforts.

» How long does it take to design a website from start to finish?
If you have all your materials ready ( your text and pictures ) , we can often design the site within 2-4 days ! When a client comes to us without having their text and and pictures ready, the site may take a week or two. You'll have a designer helping you with each step to create an amazing looking site!

» What if I need to make changes to the site once it’s live?
We will let you see your site as we work on it . You'll have a chance to make final changes and get it exactly the way you want.

» What if I need to make changes later ( few monts, a year ect. ) ?
You can make a few changes at no additional charge. After 2-3 changes , you can do more at a very affordable rate.

» We need a .com name . Can you provide this ?
Yes. The .com name for a website is called a domain name. Purchasing one for you is included in our fees. Even though we purchase it, you OWN it , not us.

» We heard websites need hosting. What is hosting ?
Hosting is the space that you "rent" online to have a website up. Hosting is already INCLUDED in our fees . We don't have hidden costs or additional things to worry about !

» Once my site is up, how do people find me ?
Your webpage will start showing up in online searches between 3 and 5 weeks after your site is online . There is A LOT that we can do as designers to help your webpage come up higher. We write your code so that the search engines ( google, yahoo, msn, ect. ) respond to it well . We will continue to work on your site after the design is done to get your site coming up in the search engines. After all , what good is a great site if customers don't find it ? We can also help you set up advertising with google, yahoo, and msn using their pay per click programs .

» I have a website , but it's not coming up in the search engines . Can you help ?
Yes ! See the above question . When we work on a page, we design it with search engines ranking in mind already. Many designers don't understand how important search engine ranking is so they ignore this VERY important part of the design. We can keep the look of your current site, but simply focus on bringing it up higher when people search for your business. SEO works costs less than a new site if you already have a site finished. Contact us for a quote !

» I'm ready to start ! What do you need from me to start a website ?
STEP ONE - FREE CONSULTATION:
We need to have a 15-30 min. conversation with you to learn about your business and marketing goals . We want a clear idea of who you are to build you a site you'll be excited to show off! If you have a current site, we will take a look at it with you to determine what you like and what could be improved.

STEP TWO - SITE DESIGN STAGE:
A designer will start working on a site layout for you based on the info you gave during your phone consultation. We require a $50 deposit to begin working on a site layout. We guarantee you'll get a layout you will love. You have the oppurtunity to make changes to the layout the designer will send or even request an entirely new layout. We won't move forward until you are happy with your site layout !

STEP THREE - YOUR SITE IS PUT ONLINE :
At this step, we put your site online ! We will need the text and pictures for each page. We can accept pictures and text via email. Please send separate emails to use with your text for EACH page with the name of the page as the subject line of the email. Please send pictures all in one batch for EACH page if possible. If you don't have any pictures, but would like some, we can pull some for you out of our extensive art file for free. 50% of your balance is due at this time.

STEP FOUR - FINALIZE
At this step, our lead designer will get into your site and make any final changes you need. Your balance is due at this point.
